New “Specialized Training Courses” From American Water College
Lancaster, CA – February 5, 2013 – American Water College continues to lead the water industry in online training, as the only online training provider approved by the state of California as a specialized training provider.
Last week American Water College released two 36 hour (3.6 CEU) courses that qualify as specialized training in the states of California and Nevada for water treatment and distribution system operators. In the state of California, the requirement for post-secondary specialized training begins at the grade 2 level, while in Nevada the requirement begins at the grade 3 level.
“American Water College is proud to lead the water industry in online training by adding specialized training to our online course offerings,” said American Water College President Joe Kerschner. “These courses will not only meet the post-secondary training requirement imposed on operators by the state, but will also cover exam relevant information for operators. By taking these courses, operators will be preparing to pass their certification exams in addition to meeting the state education requirements.”
American Water College online courses are available for enrollment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Operators can enroll and begin taking courses at any time. This allows operators the most flexible, affordable and convenient method for training.
