Area of Rectangle = (Length) (Width)
Let’s take a look at this in action with three examples.
Example 1: 45 ft long by 25 ft wide
Calculation:
45 ft long by 25 ft wide
Area = (45 ft) (25 ft)
Area = 1,125 Square Feet
Example 2: 30 ft long by 15 ft wide
Calculation:
30 ft long by 15 ft wide
Area = (30 ft) (15 ft)
Area = 450 Square Feet
Example 3: 50 ft long by 10 ft wide
Calculation:
50 ft long by 10 ft wide
Area = (50 ft) (10 ft)
Area = 500 Square Feet
